THE BUILDING

The Applied Arts Building, on Indian Wells Highway in the village of Amagansett, was originally a livery stable, built over 100 years ago. Its current renovation was done with the intention of using each of the floors for a variety of studio-workshops that could address art projects in all of the artistic disciplines.

SECURITY MANAGEMENT AT APPLIED ARTS

The priorities of Applied Arts’ Security Management plan are to: protect the safety of all faculty, staff and students;  protect and preserve the facility itself and surrounding property; provide assistance to the local community.

Anyone who enters the Applied Arts building is required to present valid photo identification when signing in at the reception desk. In addition, no persons are permitted to enter classrooms or studios at any time without a pass. Passes are given to students when they register for classes and are available free of charge. There is a $15 service fee to replace a lost pass.
